Company History

Kalcon was founded in 1977 as an independent electrical service and installation company.

Through the years, we have realized that what works best for us is what works for our customers - Quality Service.

Realizing the need for quality service, our technical staff has continued to achieve training and certification in areas of hazardous material handling, confined space entry, and all aspects of job-site safety.

1977 – Kalcon Electric is founded as an independent electrical service and installation company.

1978 – Kalcon Electric moves to Laramie and expands services.

1979 – Kalcon incorporates as K.C.E. Inc.

1979-1985 – Kalcon continues to expand and diversify it's services.

1988 – Kalcon Refrigeration is added.

1988 – Laramie's Electric Motor Company (LEMCO) begins operations.

1991 – Kalcon Electric/Refrigeration/LEMCO receives the 1991 Business of the Year Award from the Laramie Area Chamber of Commerce

2001 – Kalcon Refrigeration is sold.
